We spent a full day, from 9AM until 10:30PM at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom earlier this month. Since we were there as a family with both a 4 year old and a 13 month old, we wanted to do the majority of the rides as a family so we could spend our time together. While I’m not super adventurous (or adventurous at all, really) when it comes to rides, Jason is. So I know he is excited Blaire seemed to really love the rides and will probably be his riding buddy the next time we’re there. Here is my round up of rides suitable for a family riding with both an infant and a toddler. For most of the rides I wore Ben in a baby carrier.
1| “it’s a small world”
2| Dumbo the Flying Elephant
3| The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
4| The Haunted Mansion
5| Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
6| Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid
7| Jungle Cruise
8| Enchanted Tales with Belle (not really a ride – it’s a meet & greet where kids get to put on a show for Belle.)
Jason and Blaire also went on Mad Tea Party without Ben and I, since I’m not a lover of spinning rides.
We had so much fun at Magic Kingdom! It’s funny because I’m not even a lover of theme parks. I don’t usually like to ride any rides. I don’t like waiting in long lines, crowds of people, or extreme heat. Haha! But seeing how happy the kids were, I’d do it again a million times! I had not been to Disney since they started using FastPass+ and both Jason and I were amazed at how much it improved our experience in the park. We were able to go on so many rides and meet all of the characters Blaire wanted to see while we were there because of the FastPass+.
Blaire went to the Bippity Boppity Boutique for a makeover and Ben even got his first hair cut in the Harmony Barber Shop! It was such a memorable experience.
I hope you have so much at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom with your family. If you have any questions for me, please let me know!
