We had such an amazing time in California! I can’t believe it was already a month and a half ago. It started as a work trip for me but we were able to extend it a few days so we could also make a vacation out of it. One of my favorite parts of our trip was being able to catch up with my friend Laura, who I hadn’t seen since our wedding… so over two years! Since then, she has had a daughter (just a week before I had Blaire!) AND a little boy, 13 months later. I was so excited to meet both of them and her older two boys. Laura was there for me the entire time I was pregnant. It was so nice to have someone to talk for those 9 months who just happened to be going through everything at the exact same time. We met Laura and her family at the Santa Monica pier for dinner and to walk around, and then were able to spend most of the next day in Santa Monica with them. A bonus of the trip? We got to take a picture in front of a Guess store, which is where we worked together 8 years ago! 
Other highlights of our trip were our trips to the beach and our trip to the aquarium. Our resort was on the coast in Palos Verdes so the sunsets were gorgeous.
We loved CA and can’t wait to go back!
