Now that she’s officially a two-year-old, we figured it was time we get Blaire’s baby mullet trimmed up into a little toddler bob. I was so scared to lose her little curls, but also so excited to trim off those ends and get a piece for her baby book. :)
We went to see my hair stylist, Paige, who is the best! When we got there, Blaire didn’t want to sit in the chair on her own, but she cooperated when she sat on my lap. Once she realized someone was going to be combing her hair, she was so excited! The hair cut took about 15 minutes. Towards the end, she realized someone was using a hair dryer and needed Paige to use it on her hair. She seriously could’ve sat there all day letting her comb and blow dry her hair! So adorable. Since she did so well, we celebrated with her very own ice cream cone after.
I love that she now has a little toddler bob instead of a baby mullet. It makes her look so grown up! I can’t handle it. Her hair also seems thicker without all those wispy ends. I’m excited to see whether or not her hair seems to “grow faster” now, because everyone seems to say it will.
As with any new hair style, I guess we need some new hair accessories, right?! ;) xo

Trista this is adorable! I keep wondering when my little one will have enough hair for a bow so I can’t even imagine when she will get her first hair cut. But I can’t wait to experience it! Thanks for sharing.

Her top is so adorbs! Baby mullet and toddler bob — are these the official names for kid hairstyles? Too cute.

Awww, she looks beautiful. I went through this with my 2 year old too! The baby mullet definitely had to go. It was a strange mixture of sadness and relief.
