lactation bites to boost milk supply

These super easy, no bake lactation bites are SO yummy and I can really see a difference in how much milk I’m pumping when I eat 3 or 4 of these per day… although it is tough of me not to eat the entire batch of them in one day because they’re so addicting and they also go perfectly with coffee. These no bake lactation bites include old-fashioned oats and brewer’s yeast, both are ingredients that often increase milk supply. I originally heard of these as “energy bites” from a coworker. She gave me her recipe and I started making them at home. After Ben was born, I added in brewer’s yeast to see if they’d help my supply and they did!

no bake lactation bites

Prep Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 3 tbsp brewer's yeast
  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

  2. Once all ingredients are mixed, they should be similar consistency to cookie dough, roll into balls and chill. (I like to use a small scooper instead of rolling with my hands!)

  3. Store covered in the fridge for one week or store in freezer to keep longer.
