How far along: 36 weeks
Total weight gain: 18lbs
Movement: Still all of the time. It’s so fun to be able to see and feel her moving around in there. I can’t believe I’ll never feel another baby kick after this!
Mood: Happy and excited!
Food cravings: Root beer floats!
Gender: Girl.
Sleep: Not terrible! I feel like I might actually sleep the best when I’m napping with Ben during the day. It’s so nice!
Highlight of the Week: A good doctor’s appointment. My belly was measuring at 35cm, 70% effaced and at 2cm.
Miss Anything: Sleeping on my stomach and being able to sit down / get up like a normal person, you know, instead of it taking me forever.
Symptoms: Heart burn, out of breath, waddling everywhere I go and lots of contractions.
Looking forward to: Meeting this baby girl! But not before we get a few more things crossed off of our list. This week our car seat should arrive, we are charging up cameras and cleaning off memory cards, packing hospital bags, ordering some big brother / big sister gifts and doing so much organizing around the house.
This week my What to Expect app said the baby is the same size as a Buzz Lightyear toy. Considering how obsessed Ben is with Toy Story right now, we just HAD to make this our one and only chalkboard picture for this pregnancy. This entire year Blaire has been planning that our family will be dressed up as Toy Story characters for Halloween so as soon as we saw the costumes out, we grabbed them in their sizes and they’ve been hanging in the closet. The look on Ben’s face when he saw the Woody costume was priceless! They both just had so much fun getting to put their costumes on early to snap some pictures.
