Happy birthday to our little girl, Blaire Elizabeth! One year ago today you made your way into this crazy world (at 8:27AM) and life has never been the same. Your dad and I wondered what you’d look like, how big you would be and how we would ever be able to take on the task of being your parents.Well… you couldn’t be any more perfect! From your powerful kicks and hiccups, I definitely thought you were bigger! You weighed 7lbs 2oz and were 17.5″ long. From the moment we first laid eyes on you, you have been the love of our life. You made us a family of three. You made us parents. We are so proud of you and all that you have learned in the past year. You are so smart and funny, your smile and bright blue eyes makes every day brighter. Your laugh is contagious and I would listen to it all day, if I could. You were a breech baby, which means you’ve been stubborn from the start! ;) You’re strong-willed, yet outgoing… there’s never a dull moment with you! You truly are a little miracle.
There are days and nights I just can’t stop staring at you. I can’t believe you how perfect you are, and that you are ours. Every new stage is my favorite, and I just love watching you grow. Yet, it still makes me sad to know you’ll never be this tiny again! No matter how independent you are, you’ll always be our baby. We love you, Blaire. Happy birthday!
