Happy 3rd Birthday, Blaire!

My baby is three! HOW?! Time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing home our little blue-eyed, red-haired, three-day-old baby from the hospital. And now… here she is. Three years old, singing and dancing in the living room in her Princess Sofia dress-up shoes and her Doc McStuffins stethoscope. 

Nicknames: Blaire Bear and Blairsey

Height/Weight: 38″ | 32lbs

Favorite Words/Things to Say: One of my favorite things to hear her say is What’s up mom? She starts every morning with, Good morning, mommy! How did you sleep? And it just melts my heart. She is so sweet and so caring. She loves to sing I’m Bringing Home My Baby Bumblebee, I’m Bringing Home My Baby Dinosaur, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

What She’s Learning: She started a new daycare at the beginning of January and we call it “school”. Since starting, she’s learned to count to 20 in English and to 10 in Spanish, she can sing the ABCs, she recognizes all of her colors.

Favorite Things: Doc McStuffins, stuffed animals, Frozen, baby dolls, eating cereal at night with mama, drinking chocolate milk, playing at the park and swimming.

Favorite Foods: Mac & Cheese, Milk, Chocolate Milk, Juice, Apples, Yogurt, Apple Sauce, Fruit Snacks and Green Beans

Biggest Milestone: She’s now potty trained! Yay!

Biggest Challenge: Starting at a new daycare was really hard. But after a few weeks, Blaire really settled in and is learning a lot. She loves her new teachers and friends. Next up, she will be transitioning to the three-year-old room. Pray for me! Also, she HATES brushing her teeth.

My Favorite Part of This Stage: Seeing her personality develop and change. While she’s super sassy and always wants her way, she’s also so sweet and caring. She loves to help Jason and I in any way she can. She’s always dragging her step stool around the house wanting to help with dishes or the laundry.

Looking Forward To: Watching her become a big sister! 
Blaire, being your mama is truly more amazing and rewarding than I ever imagined possible. Although you make me crazy with your strong-willed, stubborn and sassy personality, you also melt my heart 1000x a day. I wish I could freeze time and live these days over and over again! You’re getting too big, too fast, baby girl. We love you so much!
