Our little Blaire is so sweet and funny! The past few weeks she’s repeating ev-ery-thing. She is so polite, but oh so sassy! She’s adventurous and outgoing and she has so. much. personality.
Favorite Words/Things to Say: I Love You More, Excuse You Mama (and still Excuse You Me), Naughty (usually to Mocha), Paw Patrol, Yogurt, No Thanks, Wash Hands and My Spot (As she’s stealing your spot on the couch). She’s also transitioned from calling her binky a duck to calling it a bink.
Favorite Things: Singing! She loves singing along to Justin Bieber and Frozen. What Do You Mean, Sorry, Do You Want to Build a Snowman and Let It Go are her faves. She’s usually dancing around and being silly. Now that it’s warm and we’re spending more time outside, she’s always climbing something she shouldn’t be. She loves playing in the sandbox, riding in the wagon, riding a little “bike” and slides. Paw Patrol. SO MUCH PAW PATROL.
Favorite Foods: Fruit, Chips & Guacamole, Veggies & Hummus, Cake Pops, Mac & Cheese and Milk
Biggest Milestone: Being away from mama for 3 nights AND getting up an hour earlier each morning so daddy could take her to daycare. I haven’t been away from Blaire overnight for more than one year. She was so happy to spend lots of time with her daddy, which meant she didn’t even mind waking up earlier than normal because it meant she got to ride in daddy’s car to daycare. We tried Facetiming while I was gone. Terrible idea. But, other than that, everything went great!
Biggest Challenge: Sleep! Our girl still doesn’t sleep through the night in her own bed. She wakes up during the night and comes to sleep with mom and dad. While it would be nice to not have to get up and bring her to our bed every night, I can’t say I don’t love cuddling with her.
My Favorite Part of This Stage: I love seeing her little personality shine through more and more. The more she is learning to say, the happier she is that we can understand what she’s telling us. It’s also fun to see how independent she is becoming! On weekend mornings, I can open the bedroom door for her, she can run to the fridge and get herself a yogurt. She’ll climb back in to bed and pull up Paw Patrol on my phone. It’s nice to lay there and cuddle with her, without being pulled out of bed bright and early.
Looking Forward To: Warmer weather! Trips to the park, hanging out in the pool and using our family pass to the zoo over and over again all Summer.
How cute is this romper? It’s our new favorite! It’s actually made by someone local to us! How cool is that?
We were having a fun Monday night in the backyard, and I had to get out the camera. She was being hilarious and her personality shines through in each one of these pictures. How is our little girl such a little lady already? I can’t help but smile (and cry all the tears) when I look through these.
