Back to school is always a crazy, but exciting time. Getting back into a routine means a fresh start after a long summer of late bedtimes and slow mornings.

Educational Puzzles by Banana Panda

We LOVE puzzles in our house. Ben does them every, single day. These puzzles by Banana Panda are both a puzzle and a game, all in one. The pieces are sturdy, making them perfect for little fingers to put together. Ben’s favorite is this Dinosaur Observation Puzzle. First, put the puzzle together and then search for all of the items shown in the frame of the puzzle. He and Blaire have been working on this 300 piece Solar System Suuuper Size Puzzle for days. Both puzzles come with double-sided educational posters. The kids love that it shows the completed puzzle on one side and educational facts on the other.

Surprize by Stride Rite

The Surprize by Stride Rite line at Target has been one of my favorite shoe brands for Ben since before he could even walk. They were actually his first walking shoes. Their toddler shoes come in classic colors and styles that we can both agree on, which we know can be impossible with kids as they get older and develop their own sense of style. Ben has this pair for school this year and he has been wearing them since he got them. He loves them because they’re comfortable and easy to get on… we both love them because they’re adorable.

Smartrike Products

We live in the midwest where the cold weather from winter feels like it goes on forever. We love to take advantage of walking to Blaire’s school any time the weather allows for it. The kids love their SmarTrike scooters and they have held up so well to our constant walks around the neighborhood this summer.

Both Blaire and Ben LOVE this screen-free interactive game console. There are 15 games included and everyone in our family enjoys playing them. They fall into four categories: mind, active, music, and social games. We also have the Megee skin which ads more unique games and content – teaching spanish! Funkins was founded in 2011 when the founder was on a mission to find child-sized reusable napkins. Even if your child’s school doesn’t enforce a waste-free lunch, these bright, fun napkins are perfect for your child’s lunch. Their lunch bags are machine washable and they are roomy enough to fit our favorite bento lunchbox.
