Hospital Bag

Woo hoo! I’m full term. I can’t believe it! Baby boy can come any time now. Well… he could wait about a week, give/take a few days.

Reason 1: Our final baby stuff shipment will be here Tuesday.
Reason 2: My temp at work starts Wednesday, so it’d be nice to train with her for a few days before ditching out for 12 weeks.

We finally have the nursery put together. It’s is just what I pictured! Blaire is always in there playing with her babies and reading them books. It’s so sweet. If you’re following me on Insta, then you’ve seen some sneak peeks on my story. Welllll… I included a few more of them below. ;) Fun fact, I’m wearing the same top in my 37 week picture that I wore in my 37 week picture with Blaire. Soooo I thought it was only right to include my 37 week picture from my first pregnancy at the bottom of this post.

How far along: 37 Weeks
Total weight gain: 16 lbs
Stretch marks: Nope.
Movement: He’s always moving and a lot of the time it’s super painful. It’s SO different than carrying a breech baby.
Mood: Excited and nervous. I am SO worried about a TOLAC and really hoping for a successful VBAC. I’m also nervous about being away from Blaire overnight. I can count on one hand the number of nights we’ve left her with my mom. And I’m so nervous about how she’s going to transition to no longer being the only child.
Food cravings: Strawberry Lemonade, Smoothies, fruit, Shamrock Shakes and Root Beer Floats!
Gender: Boy!
Sleep: I get out of bed about 4x each night to pee. It usually takes me awhile to fall asleep, but once I’m asleep I sleep well. The hip that bugs me is my left, so I try to sleep on my right. But OF COURSE, laying on my right side gives me instant, insane heartburn. Why is pregnancy so weird sometimes?!
Highlight of the Week: Packing my hospital bag. It’s not 100%, but I’d say it’s a good 80% of the way there. Having the nursery all put together. YAY! And savoring days with Blaire. Whether it’s just running errands together after work, going to breakfast or going to get our nails done we are both spending lots of one-on-one time with her.
Miss Anything: Wine! And not getting heartburn from EVERYTHING.
Symptoms: Swollen hands and feet, heartburn, hip pain, back pain, contractions ALL the time.
Looking forward to: Our next doctor’s appointment. Getting our last shipment of baby items so we can finally say we have all of the boxes checked on our list.

I loved strawberry lemonade while I was pregnant but I don’t like it when I’m not! This is a great post!
