30 Week Bumpdate: Baby No. 2

How far along: 30 Weeks
Total weight gain: 9 lbs.
Stretch marks: Nope. 
Movement: At this stage, it definitely feels like there is a real baby in there. There are giant rolls, kicks and punches all throughout the day. Some are so hard they make me stop whatever I’m doing… and I’m sure they result in really interesting facial expressions in the middle of work meetings.
Mood: Happy, excited and nervous.
Food cravings: Candy, smoothies, Evolution Cold-Pressed Strawberry Lemonade, Cereal, Tacos and candy!
Gender: Boy!
Sleep: I am actually sleeping fairly well. It’s usually hard to fall asleep (thanks, anxiety) and I wake up a few times per night to pee, but other than that I have no complaints. 
Highlight of the Week: Celebrating Jason’s birthday, almost every day, for the past week. So. Much. Food.
Miss Anything: Wine. 
Symptoms: Some indigestion here and there, movements ALL the time, back, hip and tail bone pain.
Looking forward to: Our next doctor’s appointment, Shamrock Shakes at McDonald’s, and I’m hoping for another ultrasound in the next month.

Since I was pregnant with Blaire in 2014, we’ve been taking a chalkboard picture to wish Jason a happy birthday. I can only imagine the madness that will ensue next year when I’m trying to talk two kiddos into sitting still for a picture. Happy birthday, Jason! We love you!
