3 reasons I love teething necklaces

As a mom, teething is one of the hardest things to watch your little one go through. My kids have sometimes shown symptoms of teething for weeks at a time. And while there are times I’ve had to resort to medicine to help ease their pain, I definitely turn to more natural relief long term. One of my favorite things with Ben has been to use teething necklaces. They weren’t really a thing until Blaire was past her teething stage. Sure, there are some cheesy ones I wouldn’t be caught wearing outside my house, but there are really stylish, pretty options too. They make the perfect keepsake.

When they’re putting something in their mouth all the time, having it end up on the floor every 5 minutes is frustrating. You’re trying to keep germs as far away from them as possible and they’re making it impossible. Wearing their teether around their neck keeps them far, far away from the floor.

2| They keep baby close to you.
My kids have both been super irritable when they’re teething. Anything I can do to promote keeping my baby close to me is a win. I want them to know mama can help soothe their pain AND I’ll take all of the baby snuggles I can get.

3| Use them even when baby isn’t teething.
Ben got his first tooth when he was seven months old! So before he even had any teeth, he LOVED playing with teething necklaces when he was nursing or having a bottle. It kept him from pulling my hair so it was a win for both of us! lol.

We could tell he was teething because he was drooling SO much, wasn’t sleeping and was overall very cranky. Within a few weeks the top 2 started coming through. He is still working on the bottom two. Thankfully, he hasn’t been as cranky and is sleeping better. But I’ll still take the teething necklace cuddles!

The QALO teething necklaces are gorgeous! I love that I could have them personalized so they will be the perfect keepsake. I had BENNY engraved on this necklace. Blaire started calling Ben “Benny” from the the day he was born and I love it so much. While he might not always want us to call him Benny, I know it’ll always remind me of this favorite time in my life when both of our kids were little and love their mom and dad more than anything. Their are so many pretty, neutral options. They’re perfect for mom and dad!

All QALO necklaces are tested by a third-party lab to ensure they meet or exceed all current U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Standards. They are also FDA approved. Every necklace is made of 100% food grade silicone. They are free of BPA, PVC, Phthalate, Cadmium, Lead, and Heavy Metal. Caring for them is so easy! You just hand wash with mild soap before your first use and after each use. It is also top rack dishwasher safe.

Did you use teething necklaces with your little? What was your favorite way to soothe their gums during the teething stage?

2022 ✨ Some days feel like they’ll never end, I’ll never get through them. Others go by too quickly. But, we did it! We’ve made it to the end of another year. ❤️ #endof2022
