28 Week Bumpdate: Baby No 2

How far along: 28 Weeks
Total weight gain: 9 lbs
Stretch marks: Nope. 
Movement: Lots of kicks and punches and moving all around, all the time. 
Mood: Happy and really excited!
Food cravings: Cereal, Sour Candy, Cherry Pepsi, Coffee, Strawberry Kiwi Snapple
Gender: Boy!
Sleep: I miss sleeping on my stomach! And it seems like every night, just as I’m about asleep, he decides it’s time to start kicking and going crazy.
Highlight of the Week: Blaire went with me to my 28 week appointment. I had to do my glucose testing (boo!) which meant I had to get my blood drawn. I told her I had to get a “shot” and she was so sweet! She just kept telling me Just be brave mommy. You be okay, they give you shot real fast and then you get a bandaid and a sticker. It was so adorable and made me want to cry. We celebrated after with Chick-Fil-A and then I got to shop at target, alone.
Miss Anything: Not waking up 100x a night to pee.
Symptoms: Tailbone and rib pain, some pain in the top of my left leg. Also still getting up 100x per night to pee.
Looking forward to: Continuing work on the baby’s nursery. We have the room painted, the crib put together, we’ve purchased some decor and the glider/ottoman are in there. It’s really looking like a nursery these days! We still need random things: a dresser, changing pad, bedding, etc. And we have lots of work to do on the closet. ;)
