You guys, I’m actually cooking for my family (most days) and I just don’t even know who I am right now. (Side note: I can either keep up with laundry or cook meals… this week cooking wins.) Today I want to share this recipe for an easy appetizer. It hits my three main food groups:
3| Marinara Sauce.
Do I need to even say anything else to sell you on why you should try these? Nope. Didn’t think so. They are SO easy to make, even Blaire can do half of the steps. Her favorite parts are placing the cheese in the middle of the biscuit and then closing the ends around it, and also eating the leftover cheese cubes once she’s finished, of course.
Yummy Cheesy Garlic Balls
- 1 can Biscuits
- 8 oz Crystal Farms® Milk Cheddar Cheese (cubed)
- 1 cup Freshly Chopped Crystal Farms® Parmesan Cheese
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1.5 tsp Parsley Flakes
- Your Choice of Dipping Sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line 2 baking sheets with waxed paper.
Cut each of your biscuits in half and then flatten them.
Cube your cheese. Cubes should be about 1".
Place cubed cheese in middle of each biscuit. Pull the sides of the biscuit around the cheese cube and then roll into make a ball.
Melt your butter in a bowl large enough to dip each ball. Mix in garlic.
Mix parsley and parmesan cheese together in another bowl. Make sure it's large enough to dip each ball in.
Then dip each ball into the butter/garlic mixture, or if you have a brush, you can brush it over each ball. Then Dip each ball into your cheese mix and place on your lined baking sheet.
Bake for (about) 14 minutes.
If you’re needing an easy recipe to take to a friend’s house or if you’re hosting friends and want to have out a yummy appetizer everyone will love before dinner, these cheesy balls are perfect. You can serve with marinara or Jason also loved them with ranch dressing.
