The Best Toddler Books

May 16, 2016

Favorite Toddler BooksMy girl loves to read books as much as her mama! Blaire “reads” books all day long. We keep books in the diaper bag for her to look at while we’re in the car, out to eat or in church. And we usually read 1-3 books before bed every night. At this phase of life, we still favor board books. If it’s not a board book, there’s a really, really high chance a page is going to get ripped (accidentally!) and even if it’s a tiny rip, we will hear about that rip every. single. time. we read that book. Sooooo, needless to say, at this point in our life we’re sticking to the board books whenever possible.

And you’re in luck, because this list does not include any books that make me cry. While there are some classics I love, I just can’t cry my face off every night while reading bedtime stories. So we save those for special occasions. Spoiler Alert: The Pout-Pout Fish book always ends with lots of smooches from my little fishy. ;)
