14 Week Bumpdate: Baby No. 2
How far along: 14 Weeks
Total weight gain: Scale says 0. My pants lead me to believe that’s a lie.
Stretch marks: Nope. I did have a scare one afternoon, so now I’m slathering on my Belly Balm every morning!
Movement: Yes! I have been feeling little flutters for the past two weeks. Baby was SUPER active in our ultrasound last week, so I’m not surprised.
Mood: Overall, very happy and excited. But, also moody at some point each day. Could be the hormones… could be my bossy toddler.
Food cravings: Cereal. Pizza. Pita Pit. Fountain Cherry Pepsi. You know. The basics.
Gender: So far, this pregnancy has been almost identical to Blaire’s. And baby has had a heart rate over 160 each time, so according to the wive’s tails, that means girl. But our doctor doesn’t do gender scans until 20 weeks! :(
Sleep: It is a little better than it was during weeks 7 through 11. I was so restless I had to get out my maternity pillow. But, Blaire has since stolen it away to her bed. Getting out of bed to pee multiple times each night is already pretty annoying… I’d also bribe my toddler with anything if she’d let me sleep in over the weekend.
Highlight of the Week: Hitting the clearance maternity clothing jackpot at Old Navy!
Miss Anything: Drinking as much coffee as I want to… #caffeine
Symptoms: Nausea. Every day. Hip and back pain.
Looking forward to: Less “morning” sickness and finding out baby’s gender!
I wish I had updates like these. I had the bump update with a picture but I love all the details!
Pregnancy is so excited! You look wonderful. And finding maternity clothes on clearance must have been AWESOME! Maternity clothes can be rather expensive!
Yay congratulations! I’m not sure about that wives tale as I was totally convinced I was having a boy and then to find out we are having our third girl! Congratulations mama and I hope the morning sickness subsides soon, it’s the worse!
What a cool idea! I wish I had been blogging during my pregnancies! Congrats on your pregnancy ??
You look super cute!! Love your pregnancy update. I completely understand the headaches. I had the same thing from about week 9 to week 16. I hear ya on missing coffee. I’m excited to have full caffeinated coffee sometime soon. :)
Too cute! I need to start a bump series, almost 20 weeks and no documentation yet :)
