Thank you to Bookroo for sponsoring today’s post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have always, always loved to read. There is nothing like getting lost in a good book. And I hope Blaire will always love to read, too. The joy books have brought me throughout the years is immeasurable and the worlds you can experience through a good book are endless. And as a parent, I don’t believe we can ever have too many books! Sure, there are classics we love to read over and over, but we all know, sometimes you just really need to read a new book.
We love reading and I’m always searching for fun, new books for Blaire. But I usually find myself in the book store, googling “books for kids” or “books for toddlers” while trying to also wrangle Blaire… then I end up picking the books with the cutest cover or the prettiest pictures. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. I want my kiddos to have a great assortment of books, but I’m not always the best at picking out those great books… so I decided to let someone else pick the books for me.
Bookroo is a monthly book subscription service, designed to help you find “hidden gems”. Their books are reviewed by a panel of families attending Stanford University (and their kids!) and they pride themselves on featuring books not easily found in your local bookstore. How cool is that? To top it off, the books come individually wrapped, so it’s just like getting a present every month. Blaire was SO excited to open hers and she kept asking Mom! Who sent me a present? Is it my birthday? It was fun to see how excited she was! They have two options for subscriptions to choose from, you can choose picture books (2 books, perfect for children ages 2-6) or board books (3 books, perfect for babies ages 0-2). You can even opt to have it sent as a gift… (remember they already come wrapped, anyways!) and you can choose from a 1-month, 3-month, 6-month or 12-month subscription.
